My wonderful husband and I went to Starkey Park today and had an amazing time walking the trails, taking photos, and soaking in the sunshine (perhaps a little too much... my chest and shoulders are burnt to a crisp!).
Some of the trees were fun and twisty...
And some reminded me of Sleepy Hollow.
We kept finding patches of these pretty flowers in the midst of burnt underbrush...
The honey bees just loved them!
I am so thankful for days like these!
